Galatians 5:22 (KJV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

This morning during my prayer the Lord began to deal with me about opinions. I’m not talking about anybody’s opinion but mine. My opinion is as diverse as the weather in the Pacific Northwest. I remembered conversations and meetings where my opinion had free reign; I began to feel small and wondered why I gave my opinion so much weight. After all the only opinion that matters is God’s and I know what He thinks because I have His word.

God is the “I AM” the creator of heaven and earth. God’s voice can shake the earth and his word can move mountains, yet when He deals with me He is gentle. So gentle that not even an ant would be crushed under His weight. I am in awe, not of His power, but of his gentleness. Sunrise_and_flowers 056

  1. Thanks for that transparency. It’s cool the Lord can deal with your heart in that way. Jesus was exalted to the highest place because of gentleness, humility, & emptying Himself. That IS something to be in awe of. The Lord bless!
